Boring tech wins. Write it down or it didn't happen. Small commits, daily demos. Build the simplest thing that could work — twice. Optimize for the next engineer, not the next PR. Treat your codebase like a product. Treat your alerts like a product. Pay down tech debt on the clock. Default to async. Hire writers.
